OHIO AMENDMENT LACKS SIGNATURES: From 365Gay.com

A group trying to force a November vote on a proposed amendment to the Ohio constitution to ban same-sex marriage is running out of names.

The Ohio Campaign to Protect Marriage collected 391,000 signatures, more than enough to place the amendment on the ballot, but many of the names have been struck off by officials in 82 counties.

The initiative appears to be at least 16,000 signatures short of the 323,000 needed.
